Specific objective of Operational Programme Knowledge Education Development: Adjusting vocational education and training to the needs of the labour market by involving representatives of employers and employees at all programming stages.

The goal of the project is to expand the existing question database by creating new questions for the vocational examination with input from employers at all stages of the process (i.e. authoring, reviewing and examining). By including employers in the existing
question-creation model, the project will respond to the needs of the economy.

The outcome of the project will be a database of 51,500 new questions for the vocational examination.

Total project budget: PLN 17,771,187.60

Contribution from European Funds: PLN 14,977,556.91

ANNOUNCEMENT FOR EMPLOYERS

The Central Examination Board is looking for employers willing to collaborate with the Board in the implementation of the project entitled “Developing question banks for the vocational examination”. The purpose of this project is to develop new questions for the vocational examination by involving employers at all stages of the process. By including employers in the question development/review and examination processes (thanks to financial support from the ESF), the project will respond to the needs of the economy.

Compensation for participating in the project as an examination question reviewer depends on the number of reviews conducted.

ANNOUNCEMENT FOR SCHOOLS AND EXAMINATION CENTRES

In connection with the implementation of the project entitled “Developing question banks for the vocational examination” (co-financed by the European Social Fund under measure 2.15 of Operational Programme Knowledge Education Development), the Central Examination Board would like to invite schools and other educational facilities to collaborate in a trial application of the questions developed as part of the project.

The contest is open to schools and facilities that conduct vocational examinations.

The school/facility should specify the qualifications for which it is willing to conduct the trial in the entry form. A list of qualifications for which entries can be submitted is provided in Appendix 1 to this announcement.

The responsibilities of the school/facility will include (without limitation):

  • preparing for and facilitating the conduct of the trial with respect to specific qualifications;
  • presenting the proposed schedule of the trial application of vocational examination questions to the Client;
  • allowing a Client-designated examiner to participate in the trial;
  • preparing the work area and materials required to answer the questions;
  • designating the students who will take part in the trial;
  • enabling examiners and expert judges to access the Redmine platform (by providing a computer with Internet access) in order to download and upload materials associated with the trial;
  • completing documentation concerning the trial conducted at the examination centre (including a report certifying the completion of the trial);
  • assigning one person to attend a one-day seminar on the trial application methodology (to be organised by the Client); and
  • adequately securing the examination materials against unauthorised disclosure.

The responsibilities of the Central Examination Board will include:

  1. providing the school/facility with the examination questions and an estimate of the costs required to provide the materials and prepare the work area;
  2. reimbursing the cost of the materials required to conduct the trial and the cost of preparing the work area (in accordance with the estimate); and
  3. appointing examiners and expert judges to conduct the trial.

Schools/facilities will be selected on the basis of their ability to conduct the trial for multiple qualifications.
